2. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for a site to function and cannot be switched off. We do not currently set any strictly necessary cookies on cakemyday.ai — sign-in and account sessions live on app.cakemyday.ai, a separate subdomain with its own cookie policy.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service. It does not set cookies, use persistent identifiers, or collect personal data, so it runs regardless of your cookie choice.

We plan to add Google Analytics, which does set cookies to measure site usage. Once enabled, it will only run after you accept cookies in the banner shown on your first visit — rejecting or ignoring the banner keeps it switched off.

3. Managing your consent

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage and reused on later visits, so we don't ask again unless you clear your browser data.

To withdraw or change your consent, clear your browser's cookies and site data for cakemyday.ai — this resets the banner so you can choose again.

4. Third-party cookies

Once enabled, Google Analytics may set its own cookies as described in Google's privacy documentation. We do not control these cookies directly — see Google's Privacy Policy for details.

5. Your rights

We may update this policy as the cookies we use change — for example, when Google Analytics is enabled. Material changes will be reflected here, with the date at the top of this page showing the last update.
